Topping up my card

BY BANK TRANSFER & ONLINE BANKING
Transferring money from a bank account to your BaBeeCard card is simple. Get in contact with your bank to set up a transfer or standing order.

You can do this:
- In branch
- Over the phone
- On-line via Internet Banking

Please use this information for the transfer:

PAYMENT REFERENCE

This is the really important bit – YOU MUST USE THE CORRECT PAYMENT REFERENCE, OTHERWISE WE WON'T KNOW WHO PUT THE MONEY INTO THE ABOVE BANK ACCOUNT AND YOUR CARD WILL NOT BE TOPPED-UP!

You must use the following format:

This is the last 9 digits printed on the front of your BaBeeCard This is your surname printed on your BaBeeCard

Don't worry if your surname is less than 8 letters long, just use the full name and leave blanks!

For example:

Daisy Jones' BaBeeCard has the number
5412 7512 3456 7890 across the front.
Daisy will use this card number and her surname to create the right Payment Reference for her card:

Another example:

Lily Cardholder's BaBeeCard has the number 5412 7512 3456 7777 across the front.
Lily will use this card number and her surname to create the right Payment Reference for her card:

BY DEBIT CARD

To top-up by debit card you will need to:

- Register your debit card details in "My Account".
- Click on 'Top-Up' and choose the card you would like to load from

There is a convenience fee of £1 to load by debit card.

If you wish to load your card for free, then go into your personal online bank account and transfer the money as if paying a bill.
