Unless we notify you otherwise, we will issue your card within fourteen days of receiving your approved application. For security purposes, your PIN will arrive a couple of days before your card.

Have you activated your card? You will need to activate your card when you receive it. Please go to the 'Activate' section of this website to do this. Once you have activated your card you will need to load funds onto it using the load facility in 'My Account' or by bank transfer.

Remember to change your PIN to something that you can remember easily. You can change your PIN at an ATM.

Do you have enough money on your card? To check your balance you will need to log into "My Account" or if you are out and about, send an SMS text.

Alternitvely it could be for a number of other reasons:

- Your card is damaged
- You have Locked your card via text (SMS)
- We have Locked your card for security purposes or on your instruction
- The card has expired (please check the expiry date on the card itself)

Yes, it can be rejected, if you do not pass the Identify Verification. This may happen if you do not appear on the Electoral Register or do not have a land line telephone number. If you are unsucessful you can download a paper application form and send it to us with your payment and we can process you manually.
